Orhan sports meet is held for the Differently abled persons of different organizations from different places. it was implemented by Orhan. This year the Sports meet was held on the 23rd and 24th of October, 2010, at Urban Council ground, Vavuniya. As the chief guest Mrs. C. P. Charles, GA of Vauniya, had been invited. Mrs. Tammie Harris, representative of US agency for international development and Miss. Clare N c Conneachie from Us aid programme were the Special guest for the event.

Along with VAROD, there were other 5 organizations from Vavuniya, Mannar, Matara and Batticaloa districts. 23 PWD took party in different events. Our children secured first three places in race, Filling water, fishing, pot breaking and fancy dress competitions. Seventeen others received certificate for participating. It was indeed a great day for the children as it paves the way to mingle with the larger community.
