VAROD Holds CRC (Community Rehabilitation Committee) Conference for the Differently Abled People Groups in the District of Kilinochchi

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) represented their groups in their villages in Kilinochchi. The Kilinochchi CRC Conference was graced with the presence of 69 from 32 CRC groups. The conference was held on the 29th of June, 2019 from 10.00am till 3.45pm at Claret Shilaom in Murikandy. The useful inputs was given by various resource persons. Mr. V. Thabenthiran, SSO of the District of Kilinochchi briefed the gathering the governmental schemes and programmes for the PWDs. Mrs. K. Sumangala, Assistant Manager, Bank of Ceylon explained about the importance of saving and planning from the point of view of practical life and banking systems. Mr. N. Rathikumar, SSDO of Karachi further explained the accessibility side for the governmental programmes.
