VAROD extends its help for the Flood victims who are PWDs in Kilinochchi and Mullaithivu. VAROD had sent its team to study the situation of the CRC group members in the districts in the 1^st week of January. Based on the study, it had developed a post-flood supportive programme; as it could not get any solid support, it had the following way: the donations received for the flood victims were utilized to buy dry ration pack for each affected families with any disabled member in the later part of January 2019.

It the late December of 2018, a sudden rise of water level due to heavy rain, had caused many to begin the New Year-2019, with less hope and desperate situation. Beginning from Mallavi, Murikandy till Visuvamadhu, the water had run to and through Iramnaimadhu tank.
