Vavuniya CP Children-Parent Gathering 2019 at VAROD

VAROD commenced a platform for the CP children with their parents to come together once a month for the better rehabilitation of the children.

The event was held on 2019.08.03 with the special resource person Dr. Joseph Soosai, Child Neurologist and with the encouraging guidance of the district SSO Mr. S. Shrinivasan.

The event had three areas where the group was exposed for a better understanding; they are the medical side of CP, physiotherapy and play therapy.

Parents expressed the need to have the gathering frequently. VAROD has proposed to fix the first Saturday day as the CP child day at VAROD for Vavuniya.
